Warehouses, car washes, and outdoor areas are all examples of tough environments where heaters can be compromised. Low-intensity infrared heaters aren't always designed with this in mind, which is why we developed the VZH harsh environment heater.
Designed with durable components and construction, model VZH radiant heaters stand up against the most challenging environments, even winds up to 40 mph. VZH heaters are approved for indoor and outdoor spaces like car washes, garage bays, parking ramps, golf ranges, restaurant patios, and more. The heater, which features a stainless-steel burner, a totally enclosed burner box with separate electrical and combustion compartments, and choice of parabolic-shaped stainless-steel or aluminum reflectors, provides long-lasting performance in the toughest environments.
What is Infrared Heating?
Like the sun, infrared heaters warm objects rather than the air. Heated infrared rays are radiated until absorbed by objects, such as floors, equipment, or people. These rays do not warm the air; they warm the air surrounding the heated objects due to the increase in temperature of those objects. The result is an instant warming effect, and the infrared system maintains temperature with minimal heat loss.
